Vibrateurs

To take away: The vibes feel great in all kinds of places. Define what makes you feel good.

discipline (bdsm)

When we see something described as a “ clitoral vibrator & rdquo; it might seem that where and how to use it is already spelled out for us. Does anyone else find this clitoris limiting? More complex answer: a clitoral vibrator is a vibrator that can be used on a clitoris. You see, the thing is, when you look at a boutique’s collection, you’ll probably notice that their “ clitoral vibrator & rdquo; The selection will include very small vibrators, large wands, toys designed to provide a sucking sensation and, frankly, some regular old vibrators. The term casts a fairly wide net. That being said, it makes sense that these things are versatile.

So how can I use a clitoral vibrator?

There are many answers to this question but today I am going to give you five. Be warned, you are going to have some surprises!

All over the vulva

OK, I’m cheating a bit here…we’re still talking about the clitoris. The trick is when we say & ldquo; clitoris & rdquo; many of us imagine that the little knot we have been taught includes all things clitoral. The thing is, the internal clitoris is HUGE. He actually has legs that span the labia on both sides and an attachment point on the pubic bone. So right there we get an idea why it might be good to leave the place we were told was the clitoris and offshoot. Take a small vibration like the WeVibe Tango and run it down either side of the lips. Use a larger wand like the original magic wand pressing gently against the pubic bone. If your vibe has a rounder or wider shape like the We-Vibe Wish, place it against the vulva. Take the time to explore. You might find a whole lot of good stuff!

On the nipples

It’s a long standing joke among sex toy reviewers that a vibe is good for nipple stimulation & rdquo; is code for this vibe doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do’…but I’m seriously serious about taking your clitoral toy a little further north. Depending on your preferred stimulation methods, you might find that something that wraps around the clitoris, like the Jimmyjane Form 2 or the Rianne S Moon vibrator, might be just as fun around a nipple. Plus, the entire line of toys that provide suction-type stimulation to the clitoris (The Womanizer, The Satisfyer, LELO SONA) can also do this to great effect on the nipples. Finally, a simple, gentle vibrator like the We-Vibe Wish can be ideal for massaging the body – including the nipples.

On a partner carrying a penis

I’ll be honest: I’m not a huge fan of small clitoral vibrators for me. That said, they can be a great addition to fellatio! First check with your partner to make sure he’s receptive (I’m never a fan of “surprise your partner!”) then experiment by touching a vibrator to his penis, perineum (the place behind the scrotum) or run lightly along the testicles. You can even play by holding a vibrator to your throat while performing oral sex – the vibration can actually be transmitted through your mouth for a unique sensation.

On the head (yes, really)

Years ago, I was struck by a raging migraine in the middle of an adult trade show. The people were so kind and helpful and a company sat me down at their booth and told me how to use a vibrator to relieve my pain. I later found out that many migraine sufferers on the internet already knew this trick and applied vibration to their forehead in response to the migraine. For me it does not cure the headaches but it can alleviate the symptoms. In addition, if you feel sudden headaches, a small clitoral vibration is easy to carry to relieve you.

On the sinuses (I swear, I’m not making this up!)

One of my all-time favorite uses for small clitoral vibrators is for sinus cleansing (I know, hot, right?). I learned this trick from Crista Anne a few years ago and it’s a lifesaver for cold and flu season! How it works? Take a small vibrator (I like the Screaming O Charged Positive or the We-Vibe Touch for this) and apply it to the jaw point below the ear – it helps open your mouth here. Next, close your mouth and hold your teeth together as you slowly run your vibration along the groove behind the ear, running up to the jawbone. Then move to the forehead and slowly move the vibration along the area above your eyebrows, moving closer to your nose. Repeat on the other side. Finally, place the vibrator right next to the ear, right next to the tragus, and (slowly and gently) move it along your face slightly below the cheekbone, towards the nose, but be sure not to go above the cheekbone. Move the vibration until it touches the nose and hold it there for 5-10 seconds. Repeat on both sides. Seriously, I love this. It clears your sinuses like nothing else!

There you have it folks, five alternative places to use an “ clitoral & rdquo; vibrator. Now go ahead and set your mood!
