Phthalates are back – BBFactory

Well, at the ecological level, it’s hard to do better because it’s Greenpeace’s turn to throw a stone into the water, via an article which I translated for you here, and it seems to make more noise than the previous shots because the information was relayed by the sextoyeuse blogosphere (ah well I do it too suddenly). Still at the origin of all these articles the famous Phthalates.

Babeland points out here about this product that the European Union has banned the use of these materials in toys for children but also in toys for dogs, showing here that sex toys are still a subject that is not discussed. not much and which seems to worry the authorities less than the nonos in Médor.

If you visit the site phthalates.info (French information center on phthalates) put online by the European Council for Plasticizers and Intermediates (therefore Pro phthalates) we can read there that nothing proves that this material is dangerous. And it is true that despite my research I have not been able to find any research results indicating in black and white that this product is harmful for conventional use. Who to believe in this case, by default I tend to never trust the extremes and tell myself that the truth lies between the two, remains to wait and see what the European Union will say.

But it is clear that as a precautionary principle it is better to take the lead and as Babeland advises use a condom with your sex toy (I know, it’s not the most fun) if you think it may contain phthalates. Because where it becomes annoying is that once inserted into the vagina the sex toy finds itself in contact with mucous membranes which do not have the same impermeability as the skin. Which suggests that if phthalates were harmful, used in sex toys they would be even more so…

Brief matter to follow…

If I can find the one who stole my camera by tonight I’ll post you a test item on a sex toy guaranteed 100% phthalate free but also 100% seventh heaven !!! Come on, a little hint: Quack quack »
