Unicorn Collaborators Strappy Designs

Unicorn Collaborators Strappy Designs

I came across the creations of the small Toronto company Unicorn Collaborators, by Debbie Rynard, while researching strapon harness styles different from those worn on the hips, and found hers at Come As You Are. It was later that CAYA sent me a join strap (KuckleFucker) as well as a boot (KickFucker) so that I can present them in an article and a video on strapons. I’m a big fan of anything that makes it easy for me to attach any kind of dildo to different parts of my body, so strap funky and varied from Unicorn Collaborators was the most welcome addition to my little collection of strappy accessories! Although I have not yet tested these harnesses during games with a partner, I would like to share with you my appreciation for these particularly astonishing models, with the bonus of the leather handcuff bracelet from the same manufacturer.

Le KnuckleFucker

This harness is made to be worn over the knuckles or the palm of the hand, but it can easily be worn over any other limb or object up to approximately 50cm (20”) in circumference. Made of supple and very soft leather, the strap is easy to adjust and the accessory comes with two nickel rings (1.5” and 2” in diameter) and it can be used with the ring of your choice if you want it bigger , smaller or lighter. The price varies from $50 to $70, depending on the color chosen, and can be found on CAYA and on the Unicorn Collaborators Etsy Shop.

I find the KnuckleFucker to be an absolutely fantastic tool because it makes it so much easier to manipulate a dildo in solo use, by placing it on the inside of the hand, and I can very well imagine it doing the same for use with partners! In the case of solo use, it allows me to position my arm more comfortably at my crotch because I can place the harness higher at my knuckles and fingers, rather than lower at the palm. Plus, I don’t need to squeeze my fingers because the ring and the straps hold the toy in place very well throughout the game!

It is easy for me to imagine that this strap can be a facilitator of manipulation of dildos and other toys having a flared base for people who have more difficulty with control and/or hand strength. Plus, it can be used in so many different ways!

Le KickFucker

Ce strapon for shoes and boots is made of supple and soft leather and the fasteners and rings are made of nickel. I have rather small feet (CA 6.5, UK 4), and therefore small boots, and the harness runs a little big on my feet. In my case it doesn’t really adjust down without looking a little bit awkward, but it should do well for wider boots. It is usually offered in red or black for $50 to $65, at CAYA or on the Unicorn Collaborators Etsy Shop. The ring is attached by snaps, so it is possible to change it to increase or decrease the size of the dildo you want to use with it.

The KickFucker is an accessory whose form and usefulness I find very interesting and that I would definitely like to try alone or with someone when I feel the time is right. It is a harness whose usefulness seems very precise to me and for which it requires that I be in the mood for a dildo on a shoe! To compare with the KnuckleFucker, the shape of the harness and the length of its straps meant that I couldn’t find other ways to wear this accessory, either elsewhere on the body or on an object.

Although not necessarily my cup of tea, I am extremely happy to know that this kind of tool exists and that a small company in Toronto makes it!

Le Double Duty Cuff

This accessory used to restrict the movements of the arms by holding the two wrists together, this leather handcuff can easily go unnoticed, because it also serves as a bracelet! And yes, the Double Duty Cuff goes from a leathery fashion accessory to an accessory used to restrict, and vice versa, in time to say it. This tool is made of thick leather and nickel fasteners, it is available in three sizes, small (6” to 6.5” in circumference), medium (7” to 7.5” in circumference) and large (8” to 8.5 ” in circumference). They are offered at CAYA and on the Unicorn Collaborators Etsy Shop in several colors for $30 to $45, depending on the model chosen.

I’m so in love with this pattern of handcuffs!

I think this can be a great first handcuff for people who would like to try out restriction games while having the option to opt out without having to ask permission. Let me explain: as the handcuff is in one piece, you just have to slide your hands in the center so that the wrists hold together, then if you don’t attach each wrist individually in the accessory, it’s easy to come off rapidly. Personally, I don’t always feel comfortable having my wrists fixed without being able to untie them quickly, so being able to choose whether they are well attached or not reassures me enormously.

My wrists are about 6” in circumference, so I took the model in small, but I would probably have been more comfortable wearing it as a bracelet if I had bought a medium. In the end, for me it is not very serious, because I do not really wear leather bracelets, but for a person who would like to use the accessory in all its forms, in doubt I would advise to take larger or write to the manufacturer for advice!

Conclusion

My favorite thing about Unicorn Collaborators accessories is the versatility of all the pieces, the multiple ways they can be adjusted and used. This flexibility in the use of each tool honestly makes them the most accessible harnesses and handcuffs I have tried to date, among other things because of the length of the straps and the ease of adjusting them, but also because the shapes created by Debbie diverge from the strap-on accessories created by “generic” sexus toy companies. They are durable tools, as they are made of quality leather, and they can all be sterilized using a cloth moistened with a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water), and harnesses are compatible with any toy that has a flared base.

I strongly encourage you to take a look at the online store of Unicorn Collaborators, because that’s where you’ll find the most variety in colors and textures. In addition, Debbie very often offers 15%-25% discounts on her harnesses!
