Which sex toys contain the most Phthalates? – BBFactory

As the article recalls, the European Union has limited the legal maximum content of phthalates to 0.1% for children’s toys. It therefore does not apply to sex toys but allows you to get an idea.

Of the 16 items tested, only 2 have no trace of phthalate. 10 have traces (0.1% month) including some sextoys tested here such as: OhMiBod, I Rub My Duckie “Paris”… Finally, 3 Sextoys on the products tested contain high levels of phthalates including the Rapid Rabbit 7 which is quite simply the poor student in the test with a content of 44.2%

Currently it is not mandatory for manufacturers of sex toys to indicate the phthalate content. So, if it seems certain that the big brands of Sextoys such as Fun Factory, Big Teaze Toy are seeking to ban phthalates from their products, others are not yet asking themselves the question, and surely will not be asking it before the European Union legislates on this subject.
I therefore strongly encourage you to use condoms for sex toys whose phthalate content you do not know, especially when they are used for penetration and therefore come into direct contact with the mucous membranes.
